Intel acquires our client Vertex.Ai for its deep learning platform

Congratulations to our M&A advisory client, Vertex.AI, who was acquired by Intel (https://tinyurl.com/yb68pebw). Vertex.AI built its PlaidML deep learning engine to help develop “deep learning for every platform.”  The team will become part of Intel’s Movidius unit, which was formed around a computer vision chipmaking startup of the same name that Intel acquired in 2016. We're excited that the whole team has joined Intel and will continue to grow out the operation in Seattle.
